Pull No1 sparkplug near the radiator and hold your thumb over the plug hole until you feel compression while someone hand cranks the engine. Slowly keep cranking the engine until the notch on the damper pulley is aligned with the pointer. Pull the mag cover and see where your rotor is pointing. It should be at the No1 plug tower. If it is way off something has jumped time. Hal
