Had the same problem with the steering wheel on my H. No fire wrench around here so had to do it the hard way. Nut came off just fine, but broke a gear puller trying to get the wheel off. Finnaly gave up and broke out the angle grinder with a cut off wheel. Cut the spokes out, leaving just the hub on the shaft. Then cut lenth ways along the hub almost through. left just a sliver of metal so as not to cut into the steering shaft. Then took a cold chissle and split the hub open about 16th inch. Pulled it off with my hand then. 60 year old rusted parts are so much fun.
