I learned here that the hydraulic pump lubricates the gears. So, I am looking at a 826 with some steering that is not up to par. The owner says that if the motor is revved up the steering is better - i didn"t try this. Is this a red flag for the gear lubrication not being what it should be. He said he has probably only run it for 100 hours over the last 10 years. i know the whole tractor is a risk, but is this another red flag?
