Dude, I don't care about caps or your typing ability so here goes. The Pilot Bearing goes into the fly wheel which is bolted onto the crank. Find a socket the will easily fit into the hole for the pilot bearing and only contact the pilot bearing on the outer race. Then gently pound it in. I prefer to do that with the fly wheel off but that will make you have to split the tractor, so just be gentle while pounding it in.
