Super C runs out of gas?

Morning everyone.
It's been a while since I posted here. Been working on a little ford, but now I have another farmall, and I need a little advice. Got a Super C running pretty decent (rebuilt carb, full ignition rebuild, 12V conversion), and it will idle all day long (nothing sounds better), but if I run it above half throttle, it just runs out of fuel and dies. If I wait 30 seconds or so, it will fire back up and idle just fine again. I have a Carter carb on it right now (currently looking for a zenith or marvel). Any ideas?
