Hi Tom, service manual says 9 gallons for transmission/hydraulics but with loader adding another 3 to 5 gallons with a loader will not hurt anything.
Re dipstick there should be some hash marks about 1/3 of the way from the bottom of the dipstick, so full is above the hash marks but adding extra for a loader will not hurt. JimB
