If your asking,you must have reason to believe that this is your problem.Yes,it does have a shelf life,but what it does to the paper filters would.be more important.I'd drain the tank,flush the lines and pump,change the filters,then try it.

Check the shutoff,you might be getting 55lbs of fuel pressure,doesn't mean the injector pump is injecting it.
