350 u will not move

My 350 U tractor suddenly will not move. The TA always seemed to growl in low side, but worked fine in handle forward position. I can shift transmission through all gears, and reverse, and it will grind like crazy and occasionally try to move. I don't know if its a clutch problem or a TA problem. How do I find out? How do I replace clutch? Split the tractor? Where at...the front or back of transmission. Is there a book on this? I've never done it, but to have the "man" do it will be too expensive. I'm ready to rip and tear, but have no clue where to begin. HELP!
