For what you do--the original size which was usually no larger than 11(12.4)-38. I see no advantage in larger fronts, either. My 460, a Super H successor came with 13.6's and 6.00-16's. It is a much larger tractor. I plowed many acres in the 50's with an H with 11-38's on it. Loaded tires and single weights. Some slippage, but it was loaded to the gills as far as power. Get 6 ply tires, front and rear. Not to scare you off, but I just put new 13.6's and 6.00-16's on my 460. Took the rims to the Firestone dealer, they mounted them ($90). Just under $1200.
