How do I 'Test' my H?

This one is for Gordo. Because he's right, I do need to get this '46 H of mine tested out and fixed up in good running shape before I tear it apart. So, here are things I know I need to do for a tune up.. - Replace the gas - Replace the oil - Replace the spark plugs - Replace the coolant - Replace the tranny fluid? - Get the battery secured Once done, I need to drive it to figure out how the tranny and motor are working. But I've read that I want to put it under a load to really see how the motor will perform. But I live in the suburbs. There are farms close... should I ask if I could pull something around a field in order to put it under a load? Or maybe I could hook up my SUV and pull it around the neighborhood? :)
