Not that I recommend it, but my Farmall A will run quite a bit of the farm on our 35kw generator. At least in the summertime it will run the TV's and fridges and the well. Winter is another story - when every tank heater, etc. is plugged in our 1086 will bark on the generator. 1086 was putting out 145hp on the dyno when overhauled and I bet it has more now that it is broke in. Those generators take a lot of power. I don't think you should have any trouble with your 300 if you don't have too many tank heaters. Steven
