my cousin has a 460 that he wants to overhaul and was thinking about putting a 560 crank in it to increase the stroke to make it a 282? i am pretty sure that the mains and the rod dia's are the same and was wondering if the rods are the same length, or if ih made up the difference in piston pin height. i guess it would also be possible for the deck height to be different as well but i have heard that the blocks are the same for them. i think another problem he would run into is different cams and carburator jets/venturi being different. i checked at a local junkyard and the heads are the same so there should be no problem there. i am thinkin that he is getting a little over his head and it would be better just to get an complete motor from a 560, or even just get a c301. if anyone has ever attempted this or wants to offer thier 2c i would be glad to hear from you. merry christmas all. thanks
