Thanks for the friendly re-post. I have had nothing but trouble with 12 volt and have always converted back to 6. I have an H and an M that was partially converted to 12 and I converted back to 6. I am from North- Eastern Kansas but the North takes the better part of the East in my location. As for the 1486, I think you have got me mixed up with somebody else, becuase I haven't ever been in the market for a 1486. I don't know if that is good or bad, but I own 7 IHC tractors and the newest one I got is a 1947 M Farmall. I am 26 years old and I guess I am just an antique tractor buff. But hay, some of this youger generation needs to step up to bat. And by the way, my tractors are all red. No green here. I tell my John Deere buddy I would like to have a green one someday. Only my eye will turn to having an antique Oliver Hart Parr. That would be the only green I would add to my collection. Happy tractoring to ya.
