I agree with you too Bill. Out of 22 tractors, 7 of them are 6 volt and will stay that way. All of our 6 volt tractors will start in New York at -20 with a pull of the choke and a touch of the button. The big diesels sometimes need a little heat (I hate starting fluid). I wouldn't recommend the 6 volt battery from Farm and Fleet, because it does not meet the minimum crank amps required by that tractor. It is an Exide battery. Find a local Interstate battery dealer near you and buy one from them. Believe me, the Interstate is worth the extra money. I have run both brands, and I sell both brands, and the Interstate is the best. It is the only brand I will run in my machines. When you do have your H running, test it to make sure it is charging.
