The bottom of the rear casting of my Farmall 560 has a crack just to the rear of where the drawbar originally attached (has a 3pt now). I was hunting a persistent oil drip, and had wiped the underside clean and then noticed fresh oil there a couple of minutes later. There is a 3/4" rib that extends to the rear from where the draw bar bolted on, and this crack runs across it, with oil bleeding through on both sides of the rib. It looks like the crack is 2 or 3" long. It appears that the rib was hit right there by something in the tractor's earlier life. How bad is this structurally? What is the best way to repair this? I'm having to part with it soon due to a 2,000 mile move, but want to know what sort of trouble I'm passing on. Thanks - Sam C.
