???Tractor Radio???

In the scrap bin at work I dug out a radio built into a metal box with a hinged front cover,it's mounted on an aluminum plate,the plate has a round opening on the bottom that a pipe can be inserted for mounting purposes.The radio brand name is Automatic Radio.I was told that this is an aftermarket fender mounted tractor radio,is this true.Any info please.
