Clicking 2nd gear on H

My 1944 H runs, pulls and drives great aside from an annoying clicking I get in 2nd when it is not under load. I was told that there was something in the transmission that I could tighten up to make it stop the clicking but before I dig into it, I wanted the opinions of those who have been into their transmissions. Is there some adjustment I can make or is that clicking a sign that a new 2nd gear is needed?
