That is positive camber, an it helps it steer easier. I think mostly because the tires are closer together where they contact the ground, so they don't have the leverage against the steering wheel that some of the older tractors, such as the old regulars had. Same reason that wide front wheels have positive camber. Puts the contact area more directly under the pivot point.
