Al, the 140 is the last generation of the original Farmall A. The 140 has all the improvements made over time including increased hp and a refined hydraulic system. If it is in good shape and has been well cared for, $3,000.00 is not too much. Implements will add to the price. It is an excellent tractor for cultivating tobacco if that is what you are thinking of using it for. It has much more power than the A you are accustomed to driving. Phlogiston
