I am going to look at an IH 140 this morning and am seeking a price range for this tractor. I know so little about this tractor, except my dad (71 and recovering from hip surgery) has shown interest in these and the Farmall 200. Local highway department has a couple used for mowing operations so I know what they look like. I have operated an A and Farmall C and H. I know nothing about the condition of this 140 but would appreciate any price range info that anyone could pass along. Tractor does have cultivators, which would have been popular with those of us tobacco growing families (used an H John Deere) in years gone by, and in the corn fields. Thanks for your help. [Me, I am the second owner of a 1946 Ford N series tractor and since last Saturday, the owner of a John Deere ground driven-wooden manure spreader and a Model 9 John Deere mower] At an auction, a horse drawn, perfect IHC manure spreader sold for $1375 - amish farmer.
