Thanks Curt....You have made me wonder about the switch. It is an aftermarket, and has given indications of going bad. I do not have another tractor which I can switch parts from though. I have a 'factory' switch which I believe to be good, and may try that, and I think I will go buy another coil to try also, and return the one on the tractor. I may be paying the price for going "cheap" on the coil and gotten a defective one. I did check for 6 volts to coil prior to replacing it and did in fact have a "dead" coil. The part that makes me suspect coil is that it ran fine prior to the dead coil.
