So you got 23 gallons out of it. Wow! I recently got a Hebard Shop Mule, which is built like a Cub Low Boy, but with A parts. Someone did not know where the level plug was on it. I took the level plug out and got around 2 gallons of oil and then drained the 6 quarts that is supposed to be in there out of the drain. So it had around 3 1/2 gallons in it where there was supposed to be 1 1/2. It's amazing, but none of the seals were leaking. I'd say the water in your M got in there over years and years and you will have no trouble with that after you get her fixed up.
