A couple of weeks ago I was up home to clean up a couple of houseplaces. Took the push mower, weedeater and the A. My Father showed up about 8:00 AM to "help".He's retired now and we enjoy working together on the weekends. He's a MF man and although he has worked on the Farmalls alot he thinks they're a waste of time and money. Says the new tractors are quicker and more efficent than my old junk. Anyway I got started on the A and after about 15 min he waved me in and said he was to old to push a mower and that he'd rather drive the tractor, as long as I promised not to tell anyone he'd actually sat on "that old piece of junk". I gave him some tips, suggested caution, and turned him loose. Three hours later had to pry him off to go to dinner. He allowed that the "old piece of junk" steered easy, turned pretty sharp and seemed to cut grass pretty good. I offered to sell it to him but he didn't go quite that far.Figured that if we put the A in his barn I'd have an empty stall for a "new" Farmall in mine. Now he says that the A may be some good but the H is still "a piece of junk". Guess I'll have to Tom Sawyer him into bush hogging with it this weekend. Ya'll have a good and safe week. CB

I said that I would be interested, and was wondering what his next step was. (Although I was talking under my breath, since I thought of this some years ago) My friend, Arlyn Lamb of Lakeville, Minnesota was sincere in his miss
