I've gotten away with putting a few on backwards with the flange outwards and then removing the flange and very carefully filing the edge of the sleeve. This only works if the fit is not exceedingly tight (use loctite on the shaft under the sleeve, if you try this). The Speedy Sleeves also come in various widths, the other possiblity is to get a narrower sleeve. I've never had any luck filling with an epoxy in a seal groove. If you have room you can always set the seal higher or lower than the groove.
