The transmission drive shaft coupling has a slight groove where the lip of the oil seal rode on the shaft. I bought a SPEEDI-SLEEVE from a local bearing dealer ($$), but as I'm looking at it, the flange on the sleeve is going to botom out before the sleeve is completely on the shaft. There's no clearange to leave the extra hanging out over the end. Any suggestions? Spencer Yost's "Antique Tractor Bible" mentions filling grooved shafts with various epoxies. Does someone have experience with these, any tips, and a brand recommendation? Thanks!
