The tractor did have a replacement sleeve and piston kit put in it, no otherway to do the overhaul that I know of. The valves and seats were also grownd. A lower compession ratio I could believe. Could you elaborate (explain) a little more on the "been there - done that" comment? Do you mean that you had a tractor with this exact same problem? What did you do and how did you do it? My local Case/IH dealer says that they did all they were supposed to do and that the tractor is fine? Is there a means to check the compression in the cylinder without taking the injector out? Thank you
