Yes, the 123 will fit on the "B" with one minor setback. All of the power units that I have seen have the starter right underneith the oil filter with the bendix end of the starter facing rearward. The tractor starters mount in the bellhousing with the bendix facing forward. The power unit engines have a half moon shaped cutout on the back side of the block to make room for the starter. This cut out section doesnt have a bolt hole location to bolt the engine to the bellhousing in that spot, so you will be missing one bolt. I have seen one of these engines mounted on a "A" tractor and he didnt seem to have any troubles with it in spite that it was missing one bellhousing bolt. Other then that, it will bolt in. I am restoring a 1940 "A" and used the oversize piston kit which will convert the original 113in. engine over to a 123in. engine. Hope this helps. Steve T
