Phil: Rather than do a rebuild from just one post from Bill, do more checking to make sure. You would cuss if it turned out to be another simple fix. Had it been running good untill just now? Does it have an oil bath air filter? Over full? Have you done a compression test?? Over full crankcase? etc etc. G.
