Shannon: My 450 runs real good and it will pull 4-14 John Deere trailer plow in 1st gear, admittidly not as easy as my J.D.70D in 3rd. BUT the Deere has 95 cu. in. more so it should and does pull stronger. The 450 came with a 3-14 mounted and it pulls that just fine. We have hard gumbo clay that takes a lot of power is the carb set ok? this can cause power loss good luck and keep us posted as to what you find
