Another school of thought on flushing is not to do it all. Just warm the transmission, drain it completely and refill (90W). Let any grit that is laying on the bottom just stay stuck there doing do harm. You don't want any grit circulating into the bearings. It seems to me that flushing with light solvent will cause exactly what you don't want to happen - grit in the bearings and gears. To make matters worst, there is hardly any lubrication because of the light solvent. Others may disagree, but this is the way I see it. David
