12 volt Cub

I bought a 1952 Cub (1 pt) that had been rebuilt and converted to 12 v. The alt. was mounted outside the hood,I would like to mount it under the hood for looks and most importantly because the lift rod strikes the alt. when useing the front cultivator. I need to plow my garden and would appreciate any help. The grass is growing here in south Ga.
