The industrial axle was offered at least through the end of Farmall 100 production. I have seen and have pictures of a 1956 Farmall 100 with the industrial front axle and foot accelerator. It came that way from the factory. It was used by a small county for mowing along the sides of roads.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
