Guess it's time for me to make my pitch for the Fast Hitch. Amazes me that anyone would think a 3-point is better. With a Fast Hitch, you just back into implements. Using 3-point implements with the Fast Hitch just requires hooking up adapter bars to the implement and a means of holding them parallel to the ground while you back the tractor into them. I use a piece of 2x4 with a couple of notches cut into it for the bars, and a piece of rope to hold it up. Not elegant, but it works great. Hook up and position the adaptors, back the tractor into them, hop off and hook up the top link, and I'm ready to go. With the standard 3-point system, you spend a lot of time pushing on the implement, the hitch, the tractor, or some combination of the three trying to get things to line up, and you're exposed to all the pinch points, etc. during the process. You'd also better have the implement parked on very flat ground, or get somebody to help you hitch up. My right thumbnail has finally grown back after I lost it to the 3-point hitch on my neighbor's old Ford. No way that system is better than the Fast Hitch, IMHO. Do what makes sense to you, but I strongly recommend the Fast Hitch route.
