Bob I purchased a 41 H late last summer, the steering was very loose also. I found a few items that need attention such as the bushings in the bolster itself. The moon gear in mine is only half a gear but if yours has a full gear it can be flipped. I was told by someone that sometimes the steering shaft is wore so that even new seals won't seal the oil so they used grease as the lubricant instead oil. On my H it had the old style steering u-joint that is no longer available, so i made my own u-joint. One more thing was how the front wheels were bolted on the hub, if they were spaced out it wobbled real bad.Good luck hope i helped you.
