6 volt timing light

Does anyone have info on a timing light that adapts to 6 volt/positive ground, if there is one made and where I can find one, I checked into one for a 12 volt system that required being hooked into a 12 volt system to test a 6 volt system and then you had to read something or other backwards , and the list goes on.
