Both B and BN were available with a single or dual front wheel. If you think it might be a B or BN, measure the distance between the right side seat bracket and the right side fender. If it is a BN these will be right together, on the same bolts. If they are about 4" apart it is a B. B's came out in '39 and BN's came out in early '41, I think. There should be a serial number stamped into the block, under the front spark plug, behind the magneto. It is not always the same as the tractor serial number, but, it would be close enough to tell what year it is. If that doesn't help, post a picture, somebody on here can probably identify it for you.
