Mr. Bill, The small valve to the right of the main bucket lever is for the rippers in the rear. On my 450C, I turn that and that switches the 4in1 lever to the ripper control. On your track problem; should be simple for you. In order to get the tracks together you need more slack, have someone hold a rag under the area of the bolt on the tension ram. Remove the bolt. There is a little stainless ball in there that will most likely come out, don't loose it. It is only about $1.00 at John Deere, but worth hundreds out in the woods as you tractor is worthless without it. It will be hard to see in all the grease that will come out, if you don't see it come out, thats ok. Use a come-a-long to pull the track together, keep a rag if the ball has not come out, if it's hard to pull, tap on the cyinder housing all around it with a hammer - don't hit the chrome though. Once you get it in place, lined up, and pinned then clean out a little of that grease in the bolt hole with a piece of wire or something, drop the little ball in, replace the bolt hand tight, pump some grease until the track starts to get close to the proper tension. You may see some grease come out under the cyinder from a little hole, but once that little ball finds its seat the grease will stop comming out. My experience has been to keep it a little on the loose side and add 1 pump at a time to get it to proper tension. Keep the bolt adjusted. Run it for a few minutes, check it, add a pump, run it, add a pump, etc... keep the bolt adjusted. Something most likely cause the track to come off - perhaps you could try to avoid what ever happened. I would order one of those little balls and get it in the mail in case you need it. Good luck
