Mowing?

Okay, I've been mowin' some of my "pasture" for a few years with a N.I. 6' mower (single swivel wheel at rear, 3pt converted to work with the 45's lift arms) behind the WD45...

'While back I read (here at YT mag.com) about using chains to hold up the front of the mower....

The "hold" on the 45's hydraulics "drifts" a bit(mostly down)... So I have to keep fussin' with it.

The chains seem like they might be a good idea to hold the front of the mower off the ground a couple of inches and reduce the sway/swing I get turnin' corners...

Any thoughts on this? Where would I hook the chains? Around the rear end axle casting? To (around) the bar that connects the lift arms? To the fender mount brackets?

Any input would be appreciated! Alot!

Charlie

Where did you end up connecting the chains on the tractor? I could never figure out a good place on my WD 45. I ended up putting two pieces of pipe on the lift cylinders to hold mine to the right height. I love my AC, but I hate that hydraulic control (or lack thereof.)
