When spraying sweetcrn for ear corn worm, do you spray the entire plant, or just the ear. Ive never done it before

I start spraying when the plant is young and the
main place for the spray is in the funnel part of
the plant. It's where the tassel and ears form
and works well for me. It is the center of the plant. If your plant has already formed the ears and tassel then spray the ear and area above and below ten inches.

Thanks for the update UNIMOG. I did not spray this yr. but I sure will next yr. Corn is doing well but I have some worms but not to many. Effect on the yield is unknown at this time.

However, if it is extensive I may consider making some 'shine and the worm costs extra. Kinda like that tequila they charge ya extra for just to have a worm!!
