Plowing help

I have a Jubilee and an old 2 bottom plow. The plow is rusty but the molderboards are showing some shine after wire-brushing and using it for an hour or two.
I have a question about the lever under the right hand side of the seat (looking forward). An old-timer once told me to "set" this, but for the life of me I can't remember how. The toplink bar is in the middle hole. Does anyone know how to set this lever, and do you still adjust the depth with the draft lever if using it?
Thanks as always.

That is your draft control lever. When it is in the down position it turns your draft control on.

It is simply an on/off switch and you will still have to use your position control lever to set your depth.

When on your draft control will keep your plow at a constant depth through uneven areas and will also lift your plow to get over obstacles like buried stones. This doesn't mean you won't hit rocks in a bone jarring fashion though.

Turn your control on..put the quadrant arm on position control about 3/4 down..plow 15 feet...measure your depth and then adjust till you are plowing at your desired depth.

Hope this helps.
