Wouldn't suggest rubbing it in because chances are that the John Deere guys are going to come up with two pictures of green ones pulling red ones. Or red ones broke down. Just thought I would throw that in, being a John Deere fan and all. If you don't think I'm right, just look on the stuck and troubled site on this website and count up the red ones that have had misfortunate accidents (better have your toes out for that one), and then count the green ones. As for liking red ones, it's ok to be different, it's probably just a phase anyhow.

Ain't a phase. I'm a '56 model myself and this tractor has been in the family since '57. She's been turned over twice, front end broke off once, and ran in a ditch that cave the radiator in once.

As for green, can't say I have anything against em. Going to find me a popper when I get through with all my other projects and have a few extra green stamps to play with.

Turns out the problem with the JD was a wire terminal not plugged in good, made brother feel a whole lot better.

naw, just us farmall guys like to show off what we manage to do. Never tried shifting a deere after trying to figure out how the shift pattern went though.
