How many of you guys pull your tractors?

My first tractor is a MM U, bought to pull with. Pulls 5500 and up. It was followed by a MH 101 that was bought to pull light classes, and sold because it wasn't worth a darn on the front of a sled. It was replaced with a MH 44 that holds it's own in stock class pulling at 4500 - 5500.

I have a 77 that I pull. I ran my 1850 into about a 5 and a half foot ditch this winter because the snow was drifted and you couldn't see the ditch. We had to go get the log skidder to pull it out. Anyone see that John Deere in the photo gallery that's buried to the top of the rear wheels. It's going to take a heck of a somthing to get him out.

Well I was gonna try to be serious on this board, but since you started it...

We know Slo had to buy the second tractor so he could pull-start the first one.

Slo, Our 1st choice is our Super C (all of ours are stock, Div. 1) it is real competeive from #3500 up to #5500. The 2N does a pretty good job at #2500 and #3000. The JD 70 pulls well from #7000 on up. We hope to have the Super M on her feet pretty soon, and we'll certainly try hooking the '50 JD B, '49 JD A, and '53 Super H that we didn't have ready last year (we will be pleasantly surprised if either the B or Super H does well, as I have never seen either do REAL well in stock form. That B and the Super H both should do good, at our local pull we go by plow size class, not weight, the B's usualy are the top pullers, low 1st gear, that 49 A would not do any good, would be pulling against the B & SH, but the A should have the double gear shift and the high speed 1st gear and would be beat out by both the B & SH, limit 1 set of weights or fluid, not both
