My wife and I saw two hot women together last night at the grocery store you could tell they were more than friends. She thought it was disgusting.I said there are a lot of guys out there that think that it is alright for two hot women to be rolling around together. What are your thoughts?

I used to think different, and I'm not going to heaven by judging others. I had a very close friend that has a son that was different from day one. Of course in a small town it is big gossip and a put down. The boy was raised in a very very church based family in case you are wondering.

The folks were stressed to say the least, probably more concerned about what others might be thinking.

It was a big deal till their other son commited suicide. Now I might suggest we probably have bigger things to worry about. And my bible pretty much says I'm not to judge others. Now I'm not saying you all ever need to worry about me crossing over.

We do have some guys in our comunity, and so far I have no reason to dislike or misstrust them. I do at the same time misstrust many folks who carry a bible, and quote the bible often.

I do totaly respect ALL RELIGIONS, and have friends from many different religions. Not all are from the top three most popular either.

I'm a Christian and I believe that homose*ual activity is wrong, but I also believe that what a person does in their private life is between them and God. When someone's activities harm others, then it is justifiable for others to step in.

Buddy of mine dated a girl like that for a long time. She and her best friend from high school had a thing going on for years. It was cool with my buddy and the other girl's husband, they would hang out and drink beer on "date night".

I have absolutely no problem with it. They have free will and live in a country that at least pretends to guarentee freedom of religion. Its not that I agree or disagree with them, but I believe in an absolute right of consenting adults to do as they wish as long as all parties involved consent and are legally and mentally capable of doing so. Once we start legislating morality we have to decide who's morality is correct. To me, its a lot like freedom of speach. That speach which is most offensive to the majority is that which is in most need of governmental protection.

dont bother me exept when they try to shove the issue in my face and convince me it ok, ok to teach to my kids and such... i used to keep the men under me in the navy from beating up gays . mostly because we needed those gays and the other man in the high tech positions. i used to tell the suspected gays to tone it down all the way and never speak of it. once saw a suspected gay thrown out of a window 3rd floor of barracks. broke both his legs and noone got in trouble for it..

Ruth has couple women together for a time--Implications of quiet acceptance? Old laws in Bible note Polygamy accepted practice- the old order Mormons now being persecuted for the practice. Little story of couple sisters with baby alarm clock ticking getting father drunk and laying with him to have kids- activity not condemmed in this case. Anybody marry their widowed sister-in-law lately?- approved and close to required by old laws. Animal kingdom has some incidents noted of female foreplay among them in packs of primates, the males of some species seem to have a gay game for dominance/pack status- submissive one displays female role position. Couple ladies may be just disgusted with available men leaving up toilet seats or public display is a tease from a couple with mean sense of humor. For general health reasons a couple woman having fun together has less risk than the males spreading AIDs and other STDs. Put things in perspective, lot more dangerous to public things being done. I have no problem with this whatsoever. It is their life and they have every right to be who they were born to be. Yes, gay people are born that way.

If you don't believe me, ask yourself, when did you choose to be straight? Lastly, if you believe it is against your religion, you're entitled to your beliefs. You're not, however, entitled to enforce your beliefs on others.

Per your Bible, mankind is not appointed the judge. That is God's job.

In College, I majored in "Child Psychology", I don't want to start an arguement, but could someone please explain "Latent Homosexuality"? Some people may be born a murderer or rapist but God gave us the ablity to change and make decisions. Mental incapacity is another story.

Gay people are not "born that way" Some homos actually turn from their ways and become straight, or basically they cant make up their mind. I was born a male (straight too BTW) and I was born with brown hair, brown eyes, and caucasian. I cant change my physical attributes, but a gay person decides to be gay.

Everyone's attractions are hard-wired and not chosen. Those who "change their ways" are either bi and able to play both sides, or are just deluding themselves.

Would you allow your daughter to marry a guy who switched from gay to straight? Thought not.

Folks who seem to have the most problems with gays are those who aren't self assured. University studies have proven it. Most of the loudest anti-gay voices are practicing deflection because they don't want anyone to notice they're gay themselves.

What's the big deal of doing away with DADT?

Many countries have done away with similar policies and have not had any problems. Also, gay men and women have served with distinction throughout all of our wars, including WWII, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq War, etc. What's the problem here?

There seems to be a lot of selective outrage against gays. It's an offense against God, to be sure, but so is adultery, theft, assault, etc, and there doesn't seem to be the same general outrage against those things. I personally won't condemn someone to the pits of hell for being gay because as I read the Bible, it's not my job to decide who is saved and who isn't. Seems that those who feel they have to condemn others are attempting to usurp the authority that God retains to himself.

I "chose" to be straight the same time I "chose" not to murder, rape, chase kids, etc. It's called morals, good parents, and being raised in a Christian atmosphere. Otherwise, knowing the difference between right and wrong. And I'm sure there are gays that have been raised properly, but IMO, something went wrong in their history that caused them to be what they chose to be. My own sister bounces across the line, a product of two failed marriages coupled with drug and alcohol abuse. She was raised by the same parents that her 5 siblings were, but she now feels more secure with women. Her CHOICE, not natures mistake.

Many people chose to do things that society says are wrong, or furthermore, God and the Bible says are wrong. And no, it doesn't make sense.
