Amen to that. Now if we can just hold out until Wednesday so we can listen to the radio again without hearing a political ad every 30 secs. I've been surfing the radio like crazy trying to get away from them. I've found that discussing politics is stupid because I've never heard anyone say "By gosh, you've got a point.." nor have I heard anyone say anything to change MY mind.

Well, I look at the politicians like this. Us voters are like a small herd of cattle that havent had any feed for days because they are destined for the butcher. The campaigns are about the same as two different stock hauler"s walking around the cow yard shaking a pail of feed or carrying some hay yelling "come bossy" that both want to get the cattle to come to their trailer, and entice them with what they are craving, with no intention of giving them anything once they are loaded on their wagon.

Aren't the candidates telling us everything that's wrong with the government, that they should have been fixing all along?

The ostrich head in sand thing is folk lore. They can be downright dangerous.
