Did you see on the news where Al Gore was giving a speach berating all of us commoners about global warming and the whole time he had 3 SUV's or Lincolns outside idleing with the A/C's on?

Wonder how much Carbon the hypocrite put in the air doing that?

Gene

You forgot about the private Gulf Stream jet that flew him there - only he and his wife as passengers. I guess first class on an airliner isn't good enough.

People in Tennessee finally got fed up with Brother Al. They elected his father to several terms as senator, but finally voted him out when he took political stands totally different from what his constituants wanted. Brother Al paid close attention and became "a sail in the wind of political popular opinion" and was very good at it - enough so that he got elected to office several years in a row, having convinced the people that, unlike his father, he truly represented them. His ego finally caught up with him and he decided he could actually form his own opinions. If you truly want him, you can have him - we have no further use for him now or in the future!

Heard it said that Al Gore will never run for public office again-he would be required to defend global warming, and can't. Greg

Al Gore is the Master of all BS. He continues to sell lies in the name of the environment when all he's doing is setting himself up for the future carbon credit sham.

Here is an example of his excuse to burn a carbon footprint larger than he deserves.

I'll keep you posted!!

Has a 27000 sq ft house that is not GREEN friendly. One of the few in modern times that got the most votes and lost.

He is smart or so he say's he invented the internet as I recall he stated.

I shoveled 63 inches of smow off my drive last winter must be due to this warming thing he got an Oscar?

He lost he home state. At least McGovern carried his home state.

Wonder what the Jesse Jackson will say on this subject? Happened to Reagan the mike thing also!

I have asked my self would he have invaded Iraq?

We had a pretty sharp cold spell here this past year. Working nights at a WATER plant and going home and try'n to feed cows, I walked around for 2 weeks where every time some one asked me what I knew (popular greeting in West KY) all I said was "Al Gore is full of $***."

How does the saying go? "Do as I say, not as I do."

He's no different than any of the rest though..... ..... .....all with their own agenda..... ..... which doesn't happen to be a concern with the "common good" despite their face value!!!!

wind and solar would pay out in fuel savings but still need backup power so we are back to coal and oil. think they could curb natural gas but turbines are installed to start up quick durning peak hours gas turbines that is . they are also hign maintance. cheap to build but short life.

You hit the nail on the head. What do you do when the wind stops blowing or the sun doesn't shine? Too long a lead time involved in firing up coal fired generators so they have to keep the fires burning or, as you pointed out, use gas turbines that can come on line quickly to cover outages.

Them millionaires only care about going green because us lower/middle class will be the ones making all the changes and spending all the money which will be lining their pockets. No one in politics that I have seen will practice what they preach.

Some preachers preach about the sin of adultery while having extramarital affairs, too. Doesn't mean the affair isn't a sin...just means the preacher, like Gore, is a hypocrite.
