I finally got by sprayer finished this year. Everything works good.
My question is my groundspeed is there a chart somewhere i could look at that show speed vs gpm etc.

Maybe some one knows off the top of their head. Here's what i have . Its set at 2 gal. per minute and it covers 20ft. I need to put down 1 quart of Liberty

per acre. If i remember right 20 gal. of water to a quart? I have a ford 961 so it gives me ground speed on the rpm gauge.
I've got a whopping 4 acres of corn to do.
Kind of tired been a long day hope this makes some sense.

Any help would be appreciated

Google "Tee-jet" and go to calibration calculator, should get you in the area for speed, etc.

You could always fill the tank (without chemicals), then drive across the field at the speed you want to use, and look at how much water you used. Then just calculate the right concentration for one water you used. With only 4 acres it should be a pretty easy procedure. This method will also compensate for any inaccuracies in the ground speed chart on the Tach. Good luck.

I have charts but they are down at the shop.I will post tomorrow.Mine for example is 20 inch spacing. So you drive in the gear and rpm that you will spray in for 204 feet and time it.Set 2 flags have tractor up to speed when you cross first flag start timing. The amount of time in seconds is equal to gallons per acre (gpa)for the ounces you collect from one tip.Example say it took 25 seconds to drive your distance.Catch one tip for 25 seconds in measuring cup.Number of ounces equals gpa.Adjust pressure till you get the gpa you want.Simple to do once you do it a couple times.Mark

Measure how many feet you travel in 15 seconds. Then hold a measure cup under one tip for 15 seconds and do the math.
