I have a tractor with 18.4-34 rear tires. Sat for several years with low tires. Anyhow now even after being pumped up they have flat spots where they sat. Makes for a rough ride on the road. Anybody got any solutions or ideas other than new tires (like that's really gonna happen)?

It's the nylon in the tire....get 'em hot, they straighten out. When they start to bake in the hot summer sun, you'll be a-ok

I have a bug in the back of my head that I want industrial backhoe-style outriggers installed on tractors to avoid just that situation. A 3-point model would be useful for tractors with downpressure.

But I'm still a young kid with lots of silly dreams.

Run about 20 acres under 'er. They'll straighten out.

Not much you can do. Probably the chords got broken or bent from sitting so long. Was there any fluid in the tires while sitting that long? The extra weight makes it worse yet. Even sitting over the winter my tires get flat spots and it takes a nice little cruize to work them out. I jack them up a little and that helps take some of the weight off.

I wouldn't figure flat spots would be noticable on a tractor.

they will eventually work their way out. Try not to let them set on the "flat spot".

Park it so both tires get full sun on a hot day, with the flats on top.
