Fence Question

Does anyone know of a manufacturer or distributor (perferably in Canada) for the plastic strap fencing. I'm not even sure what the proper name is for it. I've seen it used at horse farms mainly. (It's hard to Google something when you don't know what it's called.)

It's a 4 to 6 inch wide plastic strap with wires inside it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I used a product made by Centaur called Stud Rail back in 1998. It is ~4" wide with high tensile wires in the top and bottom. I love the product and it will be going in at my new property this summer.

Note: I bought the product from RAMM Fence, which now sells another brand. I can not compare the two yet.

Google Kencove Fence or John Wall Inc. They both have similar products.

I put up some tape fencing about 4 years ago. It is looking pretty rough. I was hoping it would last longer and I was out tightening it up more than I care for.

If you mean the 4" wide stuff that comes in a continous roll with a steel cable on each edge, you are talking about RAMM fence. I think it's RAMMFENCE.com
Once you get on their mailing list you'll get stuff forever. Their fences work great, and look just like board fence from about 30 feet away.

Search Kencove fencing. It's in the US but maybe you can get the name.

There's a start, you've got to whittle it down to a canada distributor.

I use the poly tape someone mentioned with T-posts. This stuff looks real nice but pretty pricey for me.

Good luck,

Dave

Polytape. Google that and see what happens.

Are you talking about electric fence? Try looking in a horse supply catalog.
