I have a post hole digger that could be classified as a 4 point hitch. It mounts on the small Ford tractors and does not use a top link but fastenes to the lift arms on the frame of the digger while the front of the frame fastens to brackets (That I have yet to find) that bolt to the fender bolts in the same place as a stabilizer bracket. 2 mounting places on each side for a total of 4 mounts.

Just thought of something else..... . I've got two steel bars that run from the draw bar pin to just below the rear axle that keep whatever you are using from swinging from side to side. 4pt hitch???

I tried google and found it referred to backhoes, post drivers, and woodsplitters. Couldn't be that they are referring to plugging in the hydraulic line as a 4th point?

Just a thought.

Maybe that's what they call that front-mounted 3-point I see on the neighbor's big blue tractor. New Holland maybe?

Otherwise, I think Westendorf's quik-tach mount with the two horns on top and the two lever-actuated bottom pins that hold the bucket on might be considered a 4 point.

google seems to think a 4-point is a trailer hitch for a pickup with a subframe that mounts to the rear axle to avoid trailer sway.

I've never heard of that...but early John Deere hitches, #800, #800A, and #801 could possibly be considered four point hitches.

Here's a pic of mine, hitched to a plow:
