Went to JD, ordered scrapers for my drill, wrong side, returned got replacements, bring home new style dont fit properly. Oh well, put them on as best I can. Use 300 Farmall to drag pasture, about done, it slips out of 4th and into 5th, locks in gear. Wife starts the 1/2 ton backs out of the shop, gets half way down the lane and it dies, won't start, piddle with it 3 days, call a wrecker, have it towed to shop, get call this morning, "Your computer fried, I ain't seen anything like this before". No idea why, so mechanic say's get a used one just in case. Contact 4 salvage yards, no one has one. One yard found one in Mn., so I'll have them get it.

the good thing is, that with the law of averages on your side you have all your bad luck at one time, now expect a string of good luck

Hey guys. Thanks for letting me blow off some steam. I know these things happen and you got to laugh about it. It is hard to remember the times when everything goes great, but thankfully they seem to happen more than the bad.

I am having one of those months also. Just got my van out of the garage after having them replacing the intake manifold gaskets for 735.00 Next day microrange went out another 160.00 Had my 6th flat in two weeks on my mowing tractor. Knocked over someone's retaining wall while backing up with my mower. Could be 5 to 800.00 to repair waiting for est. We still have three more weeks in this month, watch out. stan

Geez, what a day you had! It's probably of no consolation, but we have all been down that road at some time. A good shot of J Beam right before supper helps smooth it out a bit. Jim

Don't some days go really well once in a while & that's difficult to explain, too? Yes, good days happen, but I don't know about good months.

Hey,I have gone through the same thing in my life and my son has too he was going through a divorce and got a great job driving a semi and flipped his truck a week before Christmas they put him on admin leave till after the holidays really down we had a long talk and instead of thinking what's gonna happen next to hey i'm still breathing and facing each day positively his life has turned around got his job back doing fine now and that doesn't mean he won't see bad luck but it means I'll probably get hit with a curve ball once in awhile and have to deal with it. What I'm trying to say is if you're mindset gets so consumed with what's going to happen next that you don't see the bullet coming. The morrow of the story is you can see the pitch coming with your head up rather than looking at the ground. Hey! I thought it was so much hot air too but it actually works.Good Luck CT

Your'e lucky if it's only a month. It's my whole life. when I go to the field Scrap haulers circle my place like buzzards, waiting for parts to fall off. They follow me to town with magnets on their front bumpers. Sometimes they loan me machinery so they don't have to cut it up, they know it will fall apart if I get my hands on it.

Woe is me

That is for sure! Last year I was about ready to take every vehicle I owned and bulldoze them into a very large pile and set it on fire. It would have given me the satisfaction to have at least laughed hysterically as they dragged me to the nut house! Sometimes you just can't believe how many things can go wrong in our overcomplicated lives.
